WHO IS THIS BUNCH ANYWAY?
This bunch is made up of about 100 to 150 friendly people and 6 old sore heads. If you meet one of the sore heads first, just ignore them. The rest of us will try to be friendly and introduce you to the group, but, please make yourself at home. If you aren't invited to join a game, activity or conversation, just butt in anyway. They will be glad you did!
HOW DO I BELONG?
Being a part of this group is simple. You don't have to be a member of anything and there are no dues to pay. Just show up, find some friends and have fun.
IS IT JUST FOR NAZARENES?
Absolutely not! We have several denominations represented here and one or two folks that are so frisky, no denomination will have them.
HOW IS THE GROUP FINANCED?
The cost of refreshments and other operational expenses are covered by donations taken each meeting. No one is required to give but we appreciate your help as often as possible.
HOW IS THE GROUP ORGANIZED?
There are different volunteers in charge of the following areas:
1. Programs
2. Kitchen
3. Finance
4. Music
5. Hospitality
6. Greeters
IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO HELP?
There sure is! The most important thing you can do is to be friendly to the other new people that come after you. Having been new yourself, you know how important that is. We also need volunteers to make toast and set up tables and chairs. If you have special talents that can be used for our programs, please speak up.
